Jetting Technician / Drainage Engineer

Location:

Field-Based – Wrexham/Shrewsbury/Wolverhampton and surrounding areas

Salary:

£28,682 to £31,182 per annum (depending on experience) + overtime

Role Type:

Permanent, Full-Time – Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week

Are you an experienced drainage engineer seeking a better work-life balance and benefits? This is a new role within our Operations & Maintenance team, responsible for maintaining water networks using specialised jetting equipment to clear blockages, supporting over 1,000 Ministry of Defence sites. The role involves fieldwork, problem-solving, and customer communication.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering reactive and proactive maintenance plans for wastewater networks
• Inspecting systems with CCTV to locate blockages
• Using high-pressure water jetting equipment safely
• Performing low-level repairs and installing CIPP repairs
• Communicating with customers clearly and effectively
• Documenting work using mobile IT devices

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience with high-pressure jetting equipment
• Plumbing or drainage maintenance experience (advantageous)
• IT literacy, including mobile devices and Microsoft Office
• Good fitness for working in confined spaces and adverse weather
• Excellent communication skills

About You:

• UK residency for at least 5 years and ability to obtain security clearance
• Valid driving licence, comfortable driving and towing
• Availability for occasional overnight stays
