STIL Salon, Chelsea, London

Full-time (Tuesday to Saturday)

STIL is looking for an exceptional Client Experience & Front of House Manager to join our award-winning Chelsea salon. This is not a traditional salon reception role. We are looking for someone who understands luxury service, calm organisation, client care and the importance of first impressions. The role would suit someone from a premium hospitality, boutique hotel, private members club, luxury retail, clinic, spa, restaurant or high-end customer experience background.

STIL is an award-winning colour specialist salon in the heart of Chelsea, founded by Christel Barron-Hough, three-time winner at the British Hairdressing Awards and British Colour Technician of the Year. Known for our Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic, technical expertise and highly personal approach, STIL offers clients a considered, elevated and modern salon experience.

As Client Experience & Front of House Manager, you will lead the client journey from first enquiry to final farewell. You will be responsible for ensuring the salon runs smoothly, the team is supported, and every client receives a warm, polished and seamless experience.

This role requires someone mature, professional, confident and naturally outgoing, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to stay calm, focused and solution-led in a busy luxury environment.

You will be responsible for managing bookings, client enquiries, staff columns and daily front-of-house operations, ensuring the salon diary is optimised and the business runs efficiently. You will work closely with the leadership team to improve systems, elevate service standards, support client retention, handle feedback and resolve issues with professionalism and care.

The right person will have strong people skills, excellent written and verbal communication, a commercial mindset and a genuine passion for service. You will be comfortable leading a team, training others, managing client expectations and creating a front-of-house experience that reflects the quality and reputation of the STIL brand.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing client bookings and enquiries
  • Overseeing staff schedules and diary flow
  • Maintaining a polished front-of-house environment
  • Supporting retail and sales opportunities
  • Handling client feedback and complaints
  • Improving customer service procedures
  • Training and supporting the front-of-house team
  • Maintaining accurate client records
  • Working with the wider team to ensure every client experience feels personal, professional and beautifully considered

We are looking for someone with experience in customer service, hospitality, client experience, front-of-house management, reception management, luxury retail, guest relations or a similar service-led environment. Salon experience is welcome, but not essential. The most important qualities are warmth, confidence, organisation, emotional intelligence, attention to detail and the ability to lead from the front.

You should be highly organised, able to multitask, confident on the phone, comfortable using booking systems, able to manage priorities in real time and motivated by delivering an exceptional client experience.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants to bring luxury hospitality standards into a creative, premium and client-focused salon environment.

To apply, please send your CV and a short introduction explaining why this role feels right for you.
