Bartender - Chelsea, London Calling Strange Fish of Kings Road. You may have walked a similar path before, but your spirit is ready for a role on our bar, where many things are happening at the same time. Culturally curious and hungry to learn more about our Danish 'n' Japanese roots?
Ensure our bar service standards are carried out at the highest level and always prioritise the needs of the guests. Ensure that standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the bar and restaurant. You'll be the face of our values, culture and brand, helping our Guests to leave the real world behind for a little while.
You'll bring passion, energy, and personality to the bar - every shift! You will learn about Danish & Japanese culture, ingredients, and service style - so when you recommend a drink, pour sake, or guide the guest through our menu, your focus is on mastering your craft.
Ideally, you already have experience in a busy bar, knowing how to give great service and make people happy. You are a spark of energy - full of passion for hospitality. (You flow like water - calm under pressure.)
We want you to grow with us, so through our Lead 'n' Learn academy, you can keep learning and developing your skills and challenge your responsibilities (and your healthy risk-taking). Our training is structured to both help you shine and create memories, in your role and beyond.
We want all our Strange Fish to be part of building something meaningful and to feel involved in making Sticks 'n' Sushi a little bit better every day.
As well as our Sticks 'n' Sushi language lessons (so you can speak our (slightly odd) hosting lingo in no time), you'll enjoy:
- Staff food (very, very delicious) every shift.
- 50% discount across all our restaurants, everywhere (yes - and drinks).
- Generous referral bonus schemes.
- Employee assistance and wellbeing support.
- Financial wellbeing support.
- Employee discounts - retail and high street.
- Team events, unforgettable team parties & awards.
If your spark lights ours, we'll invite you for a chat so we can meet you properly - and then if it really feels right, we'll dive straight in together.
