Base pay range
Do you enjoy soldering and the satisfaction of reworking a product that doesn\’t initially work? You may be the person we are looking for as our Soldering (Rework) Technician!
This role will involve performing rework and repair of SMT and through-hole components including BGAs, QFPs, and connectors. To repair and modify customer PCBs to quality and industry standards.
The Soldering (Rework) Technician role will involve:
- Reworking / repairing PCBs in accordance with a schedule to IPC-7711, IPC-7721 Class 3
- X-ray inspecting of built assemblies to ensure quality of product
- Liaising with and supporting internal and external customers to ensure PCBs are built to the required customer and industry standards
- Working offsite at customer premises as required to complete projects
- Complying with all 5S activities as required
For this role you will need:
- Ability to work to written instructions and bills of materials
- IPC certifications are desirable
- Experience in rework / repair is preferable, but training can be provided onsite
- High attention to detail and accuracy
This role is full time, permanent and onsite in Hook, Hampshire.
