Are you looking to be a Soldering (Rework) Technician? This role will involve carrying out BGA rework using IR and forced air reflow equipment, as well as repairing and modifying customer Printed Circuit Boards to quality and industry standards.
The Rework-Repair Technician role will involve:
- Reworking / repairing PCBs in accordance with a schedule to IPC-7711, IPC-7721 Class 3
- X-ray inspecting of built assemblies to ensure quality of product
- Liaising with and supporting internal and external customers to ensure PCBs are built to the required customer and industry standards
- Working offsite at customer premises as required to complete projects
- Complying with all 5S activities as required
For this role you will need:
- Ability to work to written instructions and bills of materials
- IPC certifications are desirable
- Experience in rework / repair is required
- Experience in use of forced air convection and IR equipment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
