We're seeking experienced Production Technicians to join our expanding manufacturing team as we continue to deliver innovative solutions to the military and aerospace sectors.

About The Role

As a Production Technician, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality products that meet both customer expectations and industry standards.

You'll work from detailed engineering documentation and follow established manufacturing processes to ensure every assembly is completed accurately and to the highest standard.

A strong understanding of quality requirements, including IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards, will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out wiring, cable looming, and soldering to a high standard
  • Assemble and terminate a wide range of electrical connectors, including:
  • Military specification circular and rectangular connectors (MIL-DTL series)
  • RF/coaxial connectors such as BNC, TNC, SMA, and similar types
  • Ensure correct preparation, crimping, soldering, and strain-relief techniques are applied
  • Build and route cable harnesses and looms in accordance with engineering specifications

• Undertake wiring and integration of

  • 19" rack systems
  • LRUs (Line Replaceable Units)
  • Box builds
  • Ensure accurate cable routing, dressing, labelling, and secure installation of components
  • Work from engineering drawings, wiring schedules, schematics, circuit diagrams, and bills of materials (BOMs)
  • Maintain compliance with company processes, quality standards, and industry requirements
  • Complete and control all associated build and manufacturing documentation

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in electromechanical assembly and wiring
  • The ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings, wiring schedules, wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams, and customer-supplied assembly information
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in cabinet, rack, or box wiring and integration
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high‑quality work
  • A proactive and positive approach to working within a team environment
  • IPC J-STD certification or previous IPC training would be highly advantageous
  • 23 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays & Flex Days)
