Play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of cutting-edge PCB assemblies for our customers. This role is not a software role.
Responsibilities
- Testing and diagnosing customer products to company and industry standards
- Supporting external customers with technical queries in a timely manner
- Reporting work status to Production Test leadership
- Maintaining accurate test data sets
- Carrying out fault diagnosis to component level
- Programming devices to customer specifications
- Providing mentor-type support to less experienced / skilled team members
- Supporting Team Leaders and Department Managers with technical expertise
Requirements
- Minimum HNC in Electronics Engineering (Preferred Electronics Degree min 2:1)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a fast-moving electronics manufacturing environment
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Ability to read and interpret customer drawings and schematics
- Ability to identify components
- Demonstrates proactive approach
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Flexible and proactive approach
- Good communication skills; written and verbal
- Ability to mentor
- Excellent diagnostic skills
