Senior Test Engineer

Play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of cutting-edge PCB assemblies for our customers. This role is not a software role.

Responsibilities

• Testing and diagnosing customer products to company and industry standards
• Supporting external customers with technical queries in a timely manner
• Reporting work status to Production Test leadership
• Maintaining accurate test data sets
• Carrying out fault diagnosis to component level
• Programming devices to customer specifications
• Providing mentor-type support to less experienced / skilled team members
• Supporting Team Leaders and Department Managers with technical expertise

Requirements

• Minimum HNC in Electronics Engineering (Preferred Electronics Degree min 2:1)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a fast-moving electronics manufacturing environment
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
• Ability to read and interpret customer drawings and schematics
• Ability to identify components
• Demonstrates proactive approach
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Flexible and proactive approach
• Good communication skills; written and verbal
• Ability to mentor
• Excellent diagnostic skills
