Driving quality right first time - for customers, for production, for performance. This is a great opportunity to take the next step in your career as a Product Quality Engineer who will be responsible for enabling production to maintain and improve quality, cost & delivery performance through Quality support and approval of standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities
- Owning product quality
- Interacting with and liaising with customers
- Publishing and monitoring yield performance in line with agreed KPI’s
- Quality lead for contract reviews / production readiness reviews / build reviews
- Reviewing concessions / emails / engineering change notes ensuring compliance to procedures prior to job hold release to production
- Approving Standard Operating Procedures, suitability of jigs and visual inspection aids
- Verifying and approving changes to process
- Utilising Lean Manufacturing techniques and quality tools
- Leading quality improvement activities
- Performing yield analysis and identifying/leading CI projects
Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with a degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline with PCBA experience. This role is a full time permanent contract, working 4.5 days per week, and is based at our site in Hook, Hampshire. We offer 23 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays & Flex Days), early finish on a Friday, Flexible working opportunities, Company Pension Scheme, Health Cash Back Scheme, a range of discounts and excellent training and development opportunities. We also pay for professional memberships on a case‑by‑case basis.
The ability to achieve UK security clearance will be required for this role. All applicants should have the Right to Work in the UK, as we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
