Driving quality right first time - for customers, for production, for performance. This is a great opportunity to take the next step in your career as a Product Quality Engineer who will be responsible for enabling production to maintain and improve quality, cost & delivery performance through Quality support and approval of standard operating procedures.

Some of the main responsibilities include:

  • Owning product quality
  • Interacting with and liaising with customers
  • Publishing and monitoring yield performance in line with agreed KPI’s
  • Quality lead for contract reviews / production readiness reviews / build reviews
  • Reviewing concessions / emails / engineering change notes ensuring compliance to procedures prior to job hold release to production
  • Approving Standard Operating Procedures, suitability of jigs and visual inspection aids
  • Verifying and approving changes to process
  • Utilising Lean Manufacturing techniques and quality tools
  • Leading quality improvement activities
  • Performing yield analysis and identifying/leading CI projects

We are seeking a candidate with a degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline with PCBA experience. This role is a full time permanent contract working 4.5 days per week and is based at our site in Hook, Hampshire.
