About The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to register your interest in future Site Manager opportunities within construction and site management. We're looking for experienced professionals who can take ownership of on-site delivery, coordinate teams and stakeholders, and ensure projects run safely and on schedule. Roles of this type typically sit at the heart of site operations, working across multiple teams β from trades and subcontractors to project managers, engineers and clients β to keep delivery moving. You could be managing anything from groundworks through to final handover, with responsibility for health and safety compliance, resource planning, budget control and quality standards.

- Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester; Birmingham, West Midlands; Leeds, West Yorkshire; or nationwide UK coverage
- Type: Permanent or Contract
- Full-time Day Rate: Β£250β280 per day or Β£350β380 per day, dependent on experience and contract type

What You Would Do
- Managing day-to-day site operations, from programme delivery through to health and safety compliance
- Coordinating trades, subcontractors and teams to keep the schedule on track
- Maintaining site safety standards, incident reporting and compliance with relevant regulations (SMSTS, First Aid, HV where applicable)
- Managing site budgets, resources and labour productivity
- Liaising with clients, project managers, engineers and quality assurance teams
- Ensuring quality standards and resolving on-site issues quickly
- Reporting on progress, risks and site performance to senior management
What You Could Bring
- Proven experience managing construction sites, ideally 3+ years in a similar or more senior role
- Strong knowledge of health and safety on construction sites, including SMSTS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Familiarity with construction programmes, scheduling and resource planning
- Experience working with multiple trades and subcontractors in a coordinated environment
- Competence in basic IT systems and site reporting tools
- Clear communication and stakeholder management skills
- Valid driving licence and flexibility to work across multiple locations
Nice-to-have qualifications could include First Aid at Work, HV certification, or experience with quality assurance and risk management on larger projects.
