Recruitment is no longer just about “filling roles” … it’s about solving business-critical “complex talent puzzles” alongside our clients.
The Opportunity
If you’re currently selling recruitment or workforce solutions at a senior level, this is worth a conversation. At SThree, this role is focused on expanding a portfolio of established enterprise clients, selling high-value, multi-solution staffing offerings across the UK STEM markets. This is a strategic, client‑facing BD role — not a 360‑recruitment position. As a member of our team, you’ll engage with clients across multiple brands and collaborate closely with our seasoned recruitment specialists to offer the right type of business solution for our clients' needs.
Your Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities:
- The primary objective of this role is to develop and expand net fees within designated portfolios of Silver, Gold, and Platinum clients. These are organisations that have an existing relationship with SThree.
- Your role involves not just upselling workforce solutions from Statement of Work (SoW) to Project Services but also cross‑selling to maximise opportunities across all SThree STEM brands.
- This requires fostering key stakeholder relationships both internally and externally within client portfolios.
- Additionally, you’ll identify potential new clients within specific regions and sectors for acquisition.
- A 180 focused role from the client side of recruitment.
- Strategic, client‑focused with a heavy emphasis on business development, without resourcing responsibilities selling various business solutions such as SoW to help solve our clients' staffing needs.
- As a key hire for SThree, you’ll operate at multiple levels within the organisation.
Skills & Experience Required:
- You need to have experience within the Recruitment Industry to be considered.
- Selling different recruitment products, project services, or staffing solutions such as SoW.
- Ideally your recruitment experience is from the STEM markets.
- Demonstrated success in developing and closing new business opportunities.
- Proactive and solution‑oriented approach that builds trust and long‑term value.
- Strong influencing skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Commercial acumen and strategic mindset.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Proven track record in the recruitment industry.
What You Will Get in Return:
This role offers a fantastic opportunity across all STEM brands within SThree. We promote a healthy hybrid working environment and provide a clear development plan for your career path. Enjoy plenty of incentives, including trips to global destinations for top performers, exclusive Director Lunch Clubs, and various individual and team rewards. Additional benefits include:
- Company Share Scheme.
- Global opportunities (from Chicago to Japan).
- Clear progression plan (Velocity Programme).
- 28 days holiday + bank holidays + annual leave purchase scheme.
- Industry‑leading maternity and paternity leave.
- Private medical cover and optional dental cover, and many more!
If you’re used to selling at a strategic level and want more scope, more solutions, and more commercial impact — let’s talk.
