We’re looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Analyst to join our team in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of US payroll operations while playing a key role in driving controls, governance, and continuous improvement. Working closely with the Regional Payroll Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time, while maintaining strong compliance and controls. You’ll also act as a key point of contact for stakeholders and support ongoing process improvements.
What you’ll do:
- Managing end-to-end payroll processes, including monthly sign-off
- Ensuring timely payments to tax authorities and third-party vendors
- Leading month-end payroll activities and reconciliations
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Acting as an escalation point for payroll queries
- Maintaining strong controls, governance, and compliance
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
- Identifying and driving continuous improvements within payroll
What we’re looking for:
- Strong payroll background with 6+ years’ experience
- Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll processes
- Solid understanding of payroll controls, compliance, and governance
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, SUMIF, Pivot Tables)
- Experience with SAP or similar financial systems
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, detail-focused, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
