We’re looking for a passionate IT Service Desk Engineer - 12 MONTH FTC to join our Technology team in Glasgow and play a key role in delivering exceptional support across our organisation. About the Role

As an IT Service Desk Engineer, you’ll provide 1st and 2nd line support across a wide range of IT services and infrastructure. You’ll take ownership of incidents end-to-end, ensuring users receive efficient and effective support while maintaining a high professional standard. This is a hands‑on role, combining remote troubleshooting with on‑site support in Glasgow, plus occasional travel to other UK offices.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver 1st & 2nd line support across IT systems and services
  • Manage incidents from initial logging through to resolution
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, AV, telephony & conferencing issues
  • Support laptops, peripherals, and user provisioning processes
  • Collaborate with 3rd line teams and external vendors when needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to knowledge base improvements
  • Monitor systems, resolve alerts, and ensure smooth IT operations
  • Support office IT projects, upgrades, and asset management processes

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Knowledge

  • Strong experience in a corporate IT support environment
  • Expertise in Microsoft technologies (O365, Teams, operating systems)
  • Familiarity with device management tools such as Intune
  • Understanding of networking, telephony, and AV systems
  • Experience supporting end users and managing knowledge documentation

Key Skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Strong problem‑solving and structured troubleshooting approach
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
