We are looking for a motivated Assistant Accountant to join our Management Accounts team in Glasgow. This role plays a key part in delivering high‑quality financial reporting and insight to support business performance in a fast‑paced, global STEM talent organisation.

Responsibilities
- Month‑end journals (accruals, prepayments, payroll)
- Balance sheet reconciliations & variance analysis
- Produce clear, insightful financial commentary
- Partner with stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues
- Support audit processes and maintain strong financial controls
Requirements
- Experience in financial or management accounting
- Studying towards ACCA / CIMA / ACA (or equivalent)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to produce clear financial commentary
- Good communication skills with non‑finance stakeholders
- Intermediate Excel skills (advanced desirable)
- Experience with SAP or Dynamics 365 (nice to have)
- Detail‑oriented, organised, and able to prioritise independently
