What you’ll be doing
- Assessing building regulation applications and carrying out site inspections
- Contributing to safe, sustainable and compliant developments across Gravesham, Medway, Swale and Canterbury area
- Contributing to the mentorship of Assistant Building Control Surveyors/Trainees and supporting professional development when required
- Participating in out‑of‑hours emergency standby on a rota basis
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate
- Membership of RICS, CABE or equivalent
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
