What you’ll be doing

  • Assessing building regulation applications and carrying out site inspections
  • Contributing to safe, sustainable and compliant developments across Gravesham, Medway, Swale and Canterbury area
  • Contributing to the mentorship of Assistant Building Control Surveyors/Trainees and supporting professional development when required
  • Participating in out‑of‑hours emergency standby on a rota basis

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate

  • Membership of RICS, CABE or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
