Role Description: The Junior Content Creator is a fixed-term, part-time role based in London. The person in this role will support the creation of digital content for social media, the website, and marketing campaigns, showcasing ARMA’s Personal Training and recovery experiences. Day-to-day tasks include filming and editing short-form videos, capturing photos during classes and events, writing captions and preparing content calendars in collaboration with the marketing team. The Junior Content Creator will assist in managing social media channels, monitoring engagement, and responding to community interactions in line with brand guidelines. The role also involves coordinating with coaches and staff to gather stories, updates, and promotions, and ensuring content is delivered on time and reflects ARMA’s premium and community-driven brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Social content creation: ideate and produce high-impact posts, carousels, reels, and short-form video for both organic and paid channels
- Video production: shoot, edit, and optimize video content tailored to each platform
- Campaign collaboration: ability to liaise with the marketing team to plan and organize content, support campaign execution, and contribute ideas to content strategy
- Time management: manage the end-to-end content production process, including scheduling shoots, editing, caption writing, asset delivery, and meeting content and campaign deadlines.
- On-Site management: ability to maintain composure working in a gym environment and collaborating with coaches, members, and staff during busy training hours.
Experience
- 1+ years experience in content creation, social media production, or a similar creative role
- Foundational skills including knowledge in basic video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe, or DaVinci
- Experience with filming or photography on a DSLR or mirrorless camera
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to follow brand tone of voice.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook) and trends in fitness or lifestyle content.
- Demonstrated creativity, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback in a fast-paced, high-performance setting.
- Interest in fitness or wellness is highly beneficial.
- Relevant education or training in media, communications, marketing, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
