We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Children’s Activity Club Leader / Coordinator / Supervisor to join our Hospitality team and play an essential role in maintaining our high customer standards and supporting the delivery of a market-leading child play area offering.
About the Role: As a Children’s Activity Club Leader / Coordinator / Supervisor, you’ll be the heartbeat of our play space. This is a hands-on role for someone who would take pride in creating memorable experiences in our play areas through exceptional guest care and service, inclusive of supervision, Health & Safety, cleaning, tidying and effective communication in the delivery of excellence. We’re committed to creating an environment where children feel secure, parents feel reassured, and play is celebrated as an essential part of childhood.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation of the children’s play area, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and a welcoming atmosphere.
- Supervise and support other play area staff, providing guidance, training, and encouragement.
- Monitor children’s activities to ensure safe play, controlling the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures and intervening considerately when necessary to prevent accidents or resolve conflicts.
- Carry out regular safety checks on equipment and facilities, reporting and addressing any maintenance needs promptly.
- Greet and engage with parents and guardians, answering questions and ensuring they feel confident in our care.
- Organise and lead age-appropriate games, activities, and themed events to enhance the play experience.
- Maintain accurate incident and attendance records in line with safeguarding policies.
What You'll Bring / About You:
- Experience working with children in a play, childcare, or educational setting.
- A strong understanding of child safeguarding and health & safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills with both children and adults.
- The ability to remain calm, patient, and positive in a busy environment.
- Reliable and proactive with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team and committed to building strong working relationships with colleagues and guests.
- Flexible and able to work evenings, weekends, and during busy periods.

- Level 2 or 3 in childcare, play-work or education.
