The Retail arm of Brooklyn Travel Group is one of our most varied departments encompassing Travel Sales, Admin Support, Product and Customer Service functions. As an independent travel Agent, we have the ability to sell all types of holidays, to any destination from our 11 stores across Scotland and Northern Ireland. We also offer a multi-channel approach for ease and flexibility of booking. Our aim is to provide our customers with a seamless journey from initial enquiry to their 'Welcome Home' call, as exceptional customer service is at the heart of what we do.
We have a permanent vacancy in our Retail Product team. This is a varied and interesting role, where you will monitor trends, research new product ideas and proactively source and create new products. The role will encompass creative, analytical, commercial and administrative responsibilities. This is a great opportunity for someone to use their travel knowledge and experience as part of the Retail team. We are willing to take part-time hours for this role if the right applicant is unable to complete full time hours.
- Source deals for all forms of advertising, e-shots, TV displays, socials, window posters, mailers etc.
- Researching and analysing data to identify opportunity.
- Add sourced deals to a template and send to colleagues within the Marketing team.
- Create window posters.
- Ensure sales staff have all relevant booking details for deals advertised.
- Proof TV display deals and feedback changes to design team.
- Updating and adding deals to our website.
- Competitor analysis and reporting upon insights.
- Maintain and develop excellent knowledge of travel industry and trends.
- Attend weekly Marketing meetings.
- Communicating with suppliers and feeding back to staff relevant information.
