Salary: £30,000 basic plus overtime

We are recruiting Installation Technicians for a specialist technical installation and logistics business. Although based from Eccles, this is not a traditional site-based role. You will work away from home from Monday to Friday every week and may be deployed to customer locations anywhere across the UK, with occasional European travel.

The position involves delivering, offloading, positioning, installing and cabling specialist medical and technical systems. When not completing cabling work, you will support the wider team with equipment deliveries, manual handling and installation activities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Installing and cabling specialist equipment and systems
  • Delivering and positioning high-value customer equipment
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Supporting the safe movement of heavy and sensitive equipment
  • Completing shared driving duties
  • Working closely with colleagues on customer sites
  • Completing delivery documentation, timesheets and associated paperwork
  • Maintaining a professional and helpful approach with customers
  • Supporting additional installation and logistics duties
