An excellent opportunity has arisen for two experienced HGV Technicians to join an established commercial vehicle business based in Daventry. Our client is looking for skilled technicians who are confident carrying out diagnostics, vehicle inspections, MOT preparation and defect rectification. The role will also involve providing mobile and onsite support when required.
The Role
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs to a high standard
- Completing vehicle inspections and preparing vehicles for MOT
- Carrying out advanced diagnostics and fault-finding using modern diagnostic equipment
- Rectifying vehicle defects safely and efficiently
- Providing mobile support for breakdowns and fleet assistance when required
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety and compliance standards
- Maintaining accurate job cards and workshop documentation
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician
- Relevant technical qualifications
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience with inspections, MOT preparation and defect rectification
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A professional approach when providing mobile and onsite support
- A C+E driving licence would be advantageous but is not essential
