The Role
As an Operations Coordinator, you'll take ownership of customer orders throughout their entire lifecycle, ensuring deliveries, collections and installations are coordinated efficiently while maintaining outstanding communication with customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate deliveries, collections, relocations and installations for key customer accounts.
- Manage customer orders from enquiry through to successful completion.
- Liaise with customers throughout every stage of the order lifecycle, providing regular updates.
- Prepare quotations and process customer requests.
- Schedule work using internal systems and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate third-party suppliers where required.
- Resolve operational issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Manage shared team mailboxes and customer enquiries.
- Ensure complete accuracy of documentation before submitting work to the accounts team.
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience within a Customer Service, Operations Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator or Administration role.
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- A customer-first mindset.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Previous experience within transport, logistics or installations would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
