Theroleisdiversewithresponsibilitiesrangingfrom: Drivingcustomers good throughout the UK & Ireland withpossibilitiesfor European workthrough time, Loadingandsecuringcustomersgoodstoopenflatandsemilow-loadertrailers, Somegeneralhaulagewithflatandcurtainsidedtrailers, Completingallrelevantpaperworksuchas:Deliverynotes,CMRs, Logsheets,etc., Carryingoutdailywalkaroundcheckstotrucksandtrailersandcompletingdefectreports, Operatingdifferenttypesofheavyplantandmachinery, Adhering to Health and Safety Practices. About the Applicant: Desirable Skills; Plant&Machineryexperience/knowledge, Wideandabnormalloadexperience, Cleanlicensewithnopoints, Europeandrivingexperience, Essential Skills FullClass1license,CPC&DigiCardsuptodate, 21+forinsurancepurposes, Minimum1-2yearsdrivingexperienceinClass1vehicles, Maximum6penaltypoints, Goodwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills, Goodtimekeepingskills, Canworkaspartofateamaswellasusingtheirowninitiative, Canworkunderpressuretomeetdeadlines, Willingtoadapttochangingsituations, Positive can-do attitude, reliable and Hard working. Shifts can run from Sunday night to Friday night or Monday Morning to Saturday morning. Overnights are essential and weekends as required. (These could vary to suit applicant.) Drivers are allocated their own modern lorry with everything provided for their daily tasks.
