POLYFRAME is a leading independent fabricator of high-quality PVCu window and door systems, proudly manufacturing for the trade across the UK.
We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a Stores Operative to join our team in Lenwade on a permanent basis, working Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The role will support the efficient operation of the stores function by ensuring materials are received, stored and supplied to production in a timely and accurate manner, whilst maintaining high standards of safety, organisation and compliance. The successful candidate would ideally have their own transport due to the location of the Polyframe factory (Lenwade).
Key Duties
- Ensure all materials are available in a timely manner to meet the production schedule.
- Maintain accurate stock control, including recording and monitoring inventory levels.
- Carry out cutting of materials in line with production requirements and specifications.
- Implement and maintain effective stock rotation practices.
- Manage waste collection processes in line with company procedures and environmental standards.
- Maintain high standards of general housekeeping within the stores and surrounding areas.
- Operate in accordance with company systems, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe, secure, and compliant working environment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the stores and wider operations.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Use equipment safely and report any faults or hazards.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace to minimise risks.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have a Fork Lift Truck License, however this is not essential.
