POLY FRAME has provided fenestration solutions to the construction industry for over 25 years. Manufacturing PVCu windows and doors from our factory in Lenwade using two of the most trusted PVCu profiles, REHAU and Eurocell, we combine the highest quality materials with our fenestration expertise to ensure our customers receive market leading service and quality.
We are delighted to announce that we have an exciting opportunity for Van Drivers 3.5T to join our team in Lenwade on a permanent basis. The Driver role is all about ensuring the safe and timely delivery of our custom windows and doors. It’s a critical link between our manufacturing sites and our valued customers. The Driver will be responsible for transporting our products between sites and making sure they reach our customers in the same high quality condition they left our factories.
Key Duties
- Ensure that all products are loaded and unloaded in a safe and suitable manner using approved methods and mechanical handling aids as appropriate to the size, weight and type of equipment.
- Visually inspect products being unloaded/loaded for delivery or collection to observe that it is complete and in good condition. Rectify/report any issues to the despatch department as appropriate.
- Conform to agreed delivery times and instructions, while paying due regard to the legal requirements of the Road Traffic Act and the Drivers Hours Regulations.
- Dealing with any customer complaints.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
- Demonstrate our company vision and values.
You must hold a clean valid driving license suitable for the delivery van with previous experience of multi drop or van driving to the relevant vehicle class. With proficient navigation skills using maps and GPS you must have effective time management, strong customer service with high attention to detail.
What we offer:
- Salary: £13.70ph (£34,105.20) + Overtime after 48 hours x1.3
- Hours: 48hrs Monday to Friday (4am Starts)
- Location: Lenwade (Drops are Nationwide, on average 6 drops a day)
