We're looking for a creative and driven Digital Marketing Executive to become our first dedicated marketing hire. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of our digital marketing activity and help shape how our business is seen by customers. While your initial focus will be on growing our social media presence and increasing awareness of our retail showrooms, the role has genuine potential to evolve into a much broader marketing position as the business continues to grow.

We're not looking for someone to spend their time producing reports or managing budgets. We're looking for someone who enjoys creating content, generating ideas, launching campaigns and delivering marketing that makes a measurable difference.

The Role

You'll be responsible for planning, creating and delivering marketing campaigns that showcase our products, promote our branches and encourage more customers to visit our showrooms. Working closely with our management and branch teams, you'll create engaging content, identify new marketing opportunities and continually look for ways to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage our social media channels, creating engaging and consistent content.
  • Produce high-quality photography, video and graphics to showcase our products, people and showrooms.
  • Create marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and increase showroom footfall.
  • Promote new product launches, special offers, events and seasonal campaigns.
  • Visit branches to capture content and highlight customer projects, products and promotions.
  • Write engaging copy for social media, website updates, email marketing and promotional material.
  • Monitor campaign performance and use insights to improve future activity.
  • Help maintain website content and ensure it reflects current products and promotions.
  • Identify new opportunities across digital marketing, including paid social, email marketing, SEO and online advertising as the role develops.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure marketing supports commercial objectives.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys being creative but also understands that marketing is about generating results. You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in a digital marketing, marketing or social media role.
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
  • Experience creating engaging photo and video content for social media.
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills.
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software.
  • A good understanding of digital marketing trends and best practices.
  • The ability to organise your own workload and manage multiple projects.
  • A proactive attitude with plenty of initiative and a willingness to bring fresh ideas.

It Would Be Great If You Also Have

  • Experience with Meta advertising.
  • Basic knowledge of Google Ads and SEO.
  • Experience using website content management systems.
  • Email marketing experience using platforms such as Mailchimp or similar.
  • Experience analysing campaign performance using Google Analytics or social media insights.

Why Join Us?

This is more than a typical marketing role. You'll have the opportunity to become the driving force behind our marketing activity, with the freedom to introduce new ideas, influence how the business is promoted and see the direct impact of your work. As our marketing function grows, there will be genuine opportunities to expand your responsibilities and progress your career. If you're looking for a role where you can make your mark and grow alongside a successful business, we'd love to hear from you.
