LGV Driver Class 1

Stevenson Bros (Avonbridge) Ltd, an A.W. Jenkinson Group Company, are currently recruiting for additional LGV class one dayshift driver or tramper to join the team based at our Mosstodloch OC. Working week options; Sunday > Thursday and Tuesday > Saturday.

A long established family business, we are a specialist bulk haulier operating an exceptionally modern fleet of class one vehicles. This role involves operating the walking floor trailers, delivering a large variety of bulk product throughout the UK.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with LGV C+E category (Class 1).
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• Valid DCPC & digital tachograph driver card.
• Sound geographical knowledge and understanding of UK EU LGV driver\’s hours rules.
• Experience of bulk haulage is preferred although not essential as full training is provided.
• This role involves working away from home Monday to Friday, with the occasional requirement for working on a Saturday morning.
• Minimum 12 months LGV C+E class one driving experience preferred.

Please note, our trailer gantry and fall arrest systems have a 22 stone maximum weight limit.

Please note: If you are happy to cab hop across our fleet to cover driver holidays, your annual salary will increase.

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
