We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Solicitor to join our established criminal defence team based in Alsager, Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor looking to work within a supportive and professional environment, providing high-quality representation to clients across Cheshire and surrounding areas.
- Represent clients at police stations as part of the Police Station Duty Solicitor rota
- Provide expert legal advice and representation in criminal matters
- Ensure compliance with SRA and Legal Aid Agency requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate
- Duty Solicitor accreditation preferred but can provide training for right candidate
- Strong advocacy, communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport (preferred due to police station attendance requirements)
- Established local client base
- Opportunities for continued professional development
This role requires participation in the Police Station Duty Solicitor rota and flexibility to attend police stations across Cheshire as required.
