We are seeking a strategic, creative and high-performing Campaigns & Content Manager to strengthen and elevate the firm’s brand across all channels through high-quality content and targeted campaign activation. This role is central to defining how the firm presents itself to clients, referrers, prospective talent, internal employees and the wider market, reflecting our commitment to excellence, collaboration and client service.
The successful candidate will translate firmwide strategy and champion brand consistency to deliver insight-led content/campaigns that position the firm as a trusted adviser and thought leader within the UK legal sector.
Responsibilities- Content development & campaign delivery
- Develop and deliver a firmwide content delivery plan aligned to business objectives, practice/sector priorities and client needs, working with key stakeholders in the BD&M team and wider business.
- Plan and manage a content calendar covering thought leadership and positioning content with the primary objective of raising external profile and boosting brand awareness.
- Help shape compelling, client-centric messages and propositions, rather than purely technical legal content.
- Write, edit and oversee production of high-quality, on-brand content for digital, print and multimedia channels.
- Ensure all content is compliant, accurate, relevant and optimised for SEO/GEO and audience engagement.
- Lead on internal comms strategy and delivery, working with senior leadership to ensure consistency and reworking of external messaging for our internal audience.
- Work closely with the BD&M team and lawyers to turn complex legal topics into clear, compelling narratives.
- Work with Marketing Services Manager and wider BD&M team to identify the best digital channels that enhance the visibility of strategic campaigns.
- Manage content across its full lifecycle, repurposing as necessary to maximise ROI.
- Stakeholder collaboration
- Work closely with the Head of BD & Marketing to support the firm’s strategic growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with partners, People & Talent, Tech & Data, Responsible Business and the wider BD&M function to identify content opportunities and ensure alignment with firm priorities.
- Work with external agencies, as required.
- Leadership & project management
- Manage end-to-end brand and content campaigns, ensuring deadlines, quality standards and budgets are met, working with Marketing Services Manager and other stakeholders, as appropriate.
- Interpret data metrics provided through Marketing Services team to track and continuously refine content performance against agreed KPIs.
- Produce post-campaign evaluations with clear insights and recommendations, using results to continuously improve future campaigns.
- Support junior team members through mentoring, feedback and knowledge-sharing.
- Drive continuous improvement in content processes, workflow and quality assurance.
- Brand governance
- Working with the Marketing Services Manager, oversee the ongoing development, articulation and guardianship of the firm’s brand, ensuring clarity, consistency and distinctiveness across all touchpoints.
- Oversee brand application in strategic firm/practice/sector campaigns.
Proven experience in communications, brand management and content strategy, ideally within a professional services or legal environment. Outstanding writing, editing and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex subjects. A willingness to ‘think outside the box’ and bring new ideas, challenging convention. Strong understanding of brand identity, tone of voice principles, and multi-channel content delivery. Experience managing stakeholders at senior levels, including partners and business teams colleagues. Ability to work strategically while delivering hands-on content creation. Strong project management skills and ability to work at pace. Proactive, adaptable, and willing to take on a variety of tasks. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organisational and project management skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
