Our mission is to deliver homes without barriers for individuals who have sustained life‑changing catastrophic injuries.

Our Expert Witness team provides unparalleled insight, professionalism, and independent analysis in personal injury and clinical negligence litigation, and the Court of Protection. Due to an expanding client base, we are seeking professionals to join our award‑winning team.

The Role

We are looking for individuals with a background in disability accommodation needs to support our work in assessing and designing accessible homes. Whether you are an established expert witness looking for a new challenge or an aspiring specialist eager to train with the best in the industry, we want to hear from you.

As an Accommodation Expert Witness, you will:

  • Provide impartial, unbiased, and objective evaluations of a claimant’s housing needs to assist the Court.
  • Prepare CPR Part 35 compliant reports for both claimant and defendant litigators.
  • Advise on suitability of current homes, the cost of alternative property acquisitions, and the feasibility of bespoke adaptation schemes.
  • Assess the domestic running costs and market value effects of specialised modifications.
  • Collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary team to ensure our work continues to meet the highest standards of excellence.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: A background in disability accommodation, inclusive design, or property surveying.
  • Analytical Mindset: You are either an established expert witness or an aspiring one with the drive to hit the ground running. We value individuals who are proactive, inquisitive, and eager to train.
  • Meticulous Standards: You have a forensic eye for detail, ensuring that every observation and recommendation is accurate, justifiable, and of the highest quality.
  • Communication Excellence: You are a clear confident communicator, capable of articulating complex requirements to legal professionals, clients, and the Court.
  • Operational Drive: You are a self‑starter who is ready to join our fast‑paced team and start making an impact as soon as possible.

Why Join Us?

  • Industry Leadership: Work with a founding member of the Expert Witness Institute and a team recognised for ground‑breaking work in England, Wales, and Scotland.
  • Flexibility: We value work‑life balance. You can work from our office in the heart of Holmes Chapel, from home, or a hybrid of both.
  • Purpose‑Driven Work: Every report you write and every design you influence helps someone move forward and live as independently as possible.
  • Development: We provide full support for those seeking the Certification of Expert Witness Accreditation and offer a collaborative environment where architectural, clinical, and legal expertise combine.

If you are ready to help us change the perception of accommodation adaptations and provide homes without barriers, we would love to hear from you.
