About The Role
- Plan, deliver, and review engaging coaching sessions for a designated player “cell” across our squads.
- Provide individualised feedback and monitor progress through IDPs (Individual Development Plans) and regular reviews.
- Contribute to matchday preparation, in-game coaching, and post-match feedback for designated players.
- Work collaboratively with the MDT (analysis, sports science, medical, psychology, education & welfare) to support holistic player development.
- Record session plans, attendance, and player progress accurately on the KML system.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with players, parents, and Academy staff.
- Promote and uphold safeguarding, player welfare, and the Academy’s values at all times.
About The Candidate
Essential Requirements- UEFA B Licence (minimum).
- FA Youth Award (or currently working towards).
- FA Safeguarding Children Certificate.
- FA Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF).
- Previous experience coaching players in an academy or elite environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and matchdays.
- Working towards or holding the UEFA A Licence.
- Experience delivering within a cell or specialist coaching model.
- Knowledge of EPPP requirements and the KML system.
- Experience with video/performance analysis tools (Veo, YouTube, etc.).
- Committed to supporting young players within a professional development pathway.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive role model with high levels of professionalism.
- Flexible, adaptable, and collaborative in working within a multidisciplinary team.
