About The Role
We are looking to recruit a Project Building Surveyor to join the team and be responsible for:
- Providing a comprehensive surveying service for the councils property/building assets to ensure they are compliant.
- The specification and management of works to ensure all homes offered for letting meet the council’s lettable standard.
- Minimising voids times, rental loss and waiting times for new tenants by managing the specification and delivery of works to empty homes efficiently.
- To monitor the progress of works and ensure all works are carried out safely to the required standard and timescale.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience and enjoy working at a fast pace on different, varied, and interesting projects related to council properties and asset management works.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage own workload within agreed targets.
- The ability to build effective working relationships.
- Knowledge of building construction and all relevant health and safety requirements/legislation.
