About the Role

Are you passionate about making a difference to people’s lives? An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Community Advice and Support Team for an Adult Intervention Worker. We want to empower adults with multiple and complex needs to achieve better outcomes and prevent the escalation of issues they face. Intensive Support provides a safe and effective multi-agency service, which responds quickly and intensively to individual needs.

About You

In this role you will be responsible for a caseload of adults delivering 1-1 and group based interventions to them in partnership with other agencies in Hertfordshire. Through this support it is intended that individuals will achieve sustainable improved outcomes underpinned by an agreed plan. This is a challenging and rewarding role working directly with clients to influence and enable improvements in their lives. To be considered for the role you will need to have previous experience of working intensively and assessing individuals from a range of backgrounds and disciplines, multi-agency working, excellent communication skills, resilience and good judgement and problem-solving skills. You will be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team, deal calmly and confidently with emotional situations and have the ability to understand the needs and perceptions of residents. A full UK driving licence (with access to own vehicle) is desirable.
