ABOUT THE ROLE
Whilst studying you will be working within our Environmental Health and Licencing Team gaining an understanding of the key areas of work and supporting the Council in meeting the legislative requirements. Tasks will include:
– Assisting with inspections, investigations and audits
– Support with the gathering of evidence, preparing reports and taking enforcement action
– Maintaining accurate records
– Interpreting and applying relevant legislation

ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will:
– Be educated to GSCE level or equivalent (including Maths and English)
– Have basic Microsoft Office skills
– Have good communication and organisational skills
– Have a genuine interest in public service, law enforcement or environmental health and licensing
– Ideally have previous work experience (paid or voluntary) in a customer-facing, regulatory or administrative role
