ABOUT THE ROLE
There are diverse and variable tasks within the role, including
– Tree work – climbing, felling, crown lifting, reductions and crown reductions
– Use of chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) and rope and harness systems for climbing
– Tree planting
– Stump grinding
– Hedge works
– Woodland maintenance

The successful candidate will
– Be educated to GSCE level or equivalent
– Be able to undertake physically demanding tasks including working at heights
– Be able to work flexibly – working within a team environment and individually
