Key Responsibilities:
- Assess vehicle damage and prepare accurate repair estimates using approved estimating tools.
- Carry out minor cosmetic repairs on customer and site vehicles in line with manufacturer standards and Minor Damage Repair techniques.
- Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and within agreed timescales while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain repairs within Minor Damage Repair parameters where possible, with occasional larger repairs undertaken if required.
- Ensure effective and economical use of materials and dry goods during repairs.
- Keep the working environment clean, organised, and safe at all times.
- Adhere to all company health and safety policies, ensuring safe working practices and correct use of equipment, materials, and PPE.
- Drive and manoeuvre both customer and site vehicles safely within the dealership premises.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with the Accident Repair Co-ordinator regarding repair progress and requirements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues while also demonstrating the ability to work independently using initiative.
- Attend manufacturer and company training courses, including Toyota training, as required.
- Undertake additional duties as necessary to support the wider needs of the business.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience carrying out Minor Damage Repairs or working in a vehicle repair/paint environment.
- Experience estimating vehicle damage using industry estimating systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality repairs.
- Ability to manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
