Responsibilities

  • Talks with and listens to customers to build rapport and understand their requirements.
  • Qualifies understanding of customer needs through discussion and gauging reactions to options; matches products to customer needs.
  • Demonstrates suitable options, adapts to the customer\\\’s buying strategy, and encourages product experience through a test drive.
  • Uses in-depth product knowledge to guide customers toward the best choice.
  • Collaborates with colleagues and other teams to provide continuous improvement and seamless service (e.g., attending to Aftersales, aiming to obtain new business).
  • Ensures opportunities for sales by other teams are followed up by the most appropriate specialist (e.g., Fleet Sales).

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with people.
  • Experience in customer services or a customer-facing role in retail.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressured environment and meet challenging targets.
  • Proactive with initiative and a can-do attitude; able to work independently.
  • Ability to multi-task and switch between tasks quickly.
  • Willingness to learn and keep up-to-date with complex/technical product information.
  • Strong organisational, prioritisation, and communication skills.
  • Team player who offers help and support to others.
  • Sales Controller experience preferred (1 year).
