This is a new and important position within our company. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Draughtsperson to help bridge the gap between sale and production. This role will be crucial in reducing the time between a confirmed sale and workshop manufacture, allowing our sales and design team to focus on growth while maintaining the high standards we are known for.
You will work closely with our management and sales team to translate customer requirements into accurate technical drawings and visual renders for approval, before preparing production-ready information for our workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate (HND or Degree qualified) looking to begin their career in a creative, hands‑on and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings for bespoke kitchens and furniture
- Produce visual renders for our sales team to present finished concepts to clients
- Work from information provided by the sales team to develop accurate production drawings
- Revise drawings through internal feedback until customer approval is confirmed
- Prepare component lists for the Production Manager to enable manufacture
- Attend site visits for measuring (full training provided)
- Ensure exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in all drawings
- Contribute ideas and input where appropriate — we value initiative
The role is primarily office-based and drawing-focused, with occasional site visits for measuring.
Qualifications- HND or Degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Furniture Design, Product Design, Draughting & Design, Engineering or similar)
- Experience using CAD software (software platform to be confirmed)
