Steven.com is building the operating system for the trillion dollar creator economy. However, this industry is currently held back by fragmented tools and a lack of professional infrastructure. Steven.com is the unlock. We are the end-to-end Operating System designed to scale what is irreplaceably human.

We have built proprietary technology and obsessed teams to identify and scale the highest-potential creators across our core pillars:

  • Creator Media: Amplifying reach, influence, and trust
  • Creator Community: Transforming audiences into connected tribes
  • Creator Products: Providing creators with the infrastructure to build and back aligned products and ventures

Powered by Creator Tech & Intelligence: A proprietary data and technology suite that fuels smarter decisions and drives innovation across the entire flywheel.

MISSION

The VP of Data and Digital will serve as the most senior technology and transformation leader in the business. You will own the full digital and data infrastructure of Steven.com, while leading the AI-native evolution of how we operate.

You will sit at the intersection of strategy, engineering, and culture change, partnering directly with the C-suite and department heads to define what the business looks like when human talent is reserved for what is irreplaceably human, and the agentic technology built and deployed across the business handles much of the operational load. This is a rare opportunity to lead a genuine technology transformation at a business that has both the culture and the leadership alignment to actually do it.

OUTCOMES

  • Own the architecture and innovative evolution of Steven.com's technology stack, platforms, integrations, data infrastructure, and internal tooling
  • Define and execute a multi-year technology roadmap aligned to business priorities across all of our creator pillars
  • Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and resilient, with particular focus on GDPR compliance, third-party data exposure, and the emerging security vectors introduced by agentic AI
  • Lead vendor selection and platform decisions with a clear framework for build vs. buy vs. automate
  • Lead the company-wide deployment of autonomous AI agents across research, content, coordination, finance operations, and creative workflow
  • Commission and oversee AI audits across every department, mapping what is agent-performable today, what will be in 12 months, and what genuinely requires human judgment
  • Embed AI agent capability across business units through a rolling programme of implementation, training, and process redesign
  • Apply exponential thinking to prioritise investments: evaluate not just what AI can do today, but the trajectory of improvement over 12–36 months
  • Own and oversee the build of our data infrastructure, enabling us to own our audiences and powering creator intelligence, audience analytics, content performance, commercial attribution, and platform signals
  • Translate raw data into actionable insight for creators, commercial teams, and leadership and ensure all data tagged to governance standards agreed.

COMPETENCIES

  • You apply exponential thinking as default, you model improvement trajectories, not point-in-time capabilities
  • You lead with opinions and move with speed, but you stress-test your assumptions and know when to slow down
  • You are equally comfortable with strategy and execution- you can write a three-year roadmap in the morning and debug an integration in the afternoon
  • You have a genuine point of view on the future of AI agents and what they mean for how organisations are built
  • You treat security and risk not as blockers but as design constraints- built into the architecture from the start
  • You have a performance-obsessed operator mindset- you know how to build technical moats and focus on monetisation-ready features

YOU’LL THRIVE HERE IF

  • You’re a builder at heart - you are energised by creating things that didn't exist before
  • Direct and clear - you communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical leadership without condescension or jargon
  • Commercially minded - you understand that technology exists to serve business outcomes, not the other way around
  • Culturally aligned - you thrive in lean, high-trust environments where autonomy and accountability go hand in hand
  • Intellectually honest - you will push back when something is wrong, and update your views when you encounter better evidence
  • Credible externally - capable of representing technology with partners, vendors, and investors

IDEAL BACKGROUND

  • Served as a senior technology or digital leader (CTO, CIO, VP Engineering, or equivalent) in a high-growth, digitally native business
  • Built and shipped, fast and iteratively improved, AI-powered products or workflows in a production environment not just evaluated them
  • Led organisational transformation through technology, including change management, process redesign, and stakeholder alignment
  • Managed complex data infrastructure including governance, compliance (especially GDPR), and security at scale
  • Operated in a fast-moving, founder-led business where speed and judgment are prioritised
  • Experience in creator-led, media, platform, or startup-studio environments is a strong plus
