Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for Electricians and Mates located in Herefordshire. The role involves installing, wiring, and connecting electrical systems and components in line with project specifications and safety regulations. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with cable routing, fitting fixtures, supporting testing and commissioning, and ensuring all work areas are kept organized and safe. The position requires collaboration with site supervisors, adherence to health and safety procedures, and accurate completion of job records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Strong practical skills in electricity and basic electrical principles, with an understanding of safe working practices.
- Hands-on experience in electrical work, including installation, wiring, and supporting electrical projects on construction sites.
- Relevant trade qualifications or apprenticeships (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) are highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated commitment to health and safety, including use of PPE and adherence to site rules and regulations.
- Capability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and manage time effectively.
