Sheffield Girls is looking to appoint an experienced HR Officer to deliver a high‑quality, efficient and professional HR service to our school community. The role requires collaboration with HR colleagues across the cluster, the HR Manager (Cluster) and the GDST HR Business Partner.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive HR administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on recruitment, payroll, employee records and accurate upkeep of the Single Central Register (SCR) to ensure ISI compliance.
  • Act as the key point of contact for staff, managers and members of the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are followed at all levels.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Confidence in ensuring HR policies and procedures are followed at all levels.
  • Experience in a busy HR role, ideally within an education setting.
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification desirable, or equivalent HR experience at this level.
