SALARY AND BENEFITS: Up to £50k doe + Car and fuel card or Car Allow (circa £400pm) + bonus + health care
Applications are also welcome from experienced freelance Site Engineers who would be interested in working on this project on a day rate basis - Outside IR35 (subject to assessment) or PAYE basis.
THE ROLE: This is a great opportunity to work as a Site Engineer for a UK based main contractor who cover a wide range of Civil and Building projects. You must have previous experience of working as a Site Engineer and have experience of reinforced concrete, steel frames/structures, general building/civils and groundworks background.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Understanding of Health & Safety, Environment and Sustainability practices on site.
- Setting Out/Dimensional Control (groundworks & structural) including use of GPS, total station & automatic levels.
- Experience of working with the site team including subcontractor supervision.
- Monitoring and recording of materials, plant and logistics.
- Record keeping and reporting for senior management and stakeholders.
- A Degree or HND / HNC in Civil Engineering or a Construction related subject.
- Full driving licence - vehicle provided.
- Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on Building/Construction/Civil projects.
