THE ROLE: Our client is a well-respected, established main contractor who carry out a wide range of exciting Building/Civil projects throughout the UK including in the rail sector. They are looking to recruit an experienced Building/Civil Project Manager for a new project that is due to start in the next few weeks. This is a D&B project. The value is circa £20m so candidates must have experience of working as a Construction Project Manager on projects of at least that value, specifically within the rail sector. This is a site-based role.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Significant previous experience working as a Project Manager on Civil projects for a main contractor in the rail industry.
- D&B experience preferred.
- Experience of working on NEC projects within the rail sector.
- Extensive client liaison experience, including clear communication, providing updates and addressing concerns throughout the project life cycle.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience of managing project resources effectively, including labour, materials, and equipment.
- The ability to co-ordinate Site Management teams and Subcontractors to ensure the project is delivered on time and to budget.
