LOCATION: Commutable from Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Thetford, Lowestoft

SALARY AND BENEFITS: Variable package £80-£90k to include car (with fuel card) or car allowance, healthcare, bonus

THE ROLE: Our client is a well-respected, established main contractor who carry out a wide range of exciting Building/Civil projects throughout the UK including in the rail sector. They are looking to recruit an experienced Building/Civil Project Manager for a new project. This is a multi-million pound contract so candidates must have experience of working as a Construction Project Manager on projects of a significant value, specifically within the rail sector, ideally working in a live rail environment. Specific structures experience would be ideal for the role. This is a site-based role.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Significant previous experience working as a Project Manager on Building/Civil projects for a main contractor in the rail industry.
  • Experience of live rail environments would be preferred.
  • Extensive client liaison experience, including clear communication, providing updates and addressing concerns throughout the project life cycle.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience of managing project resources effectively, including labour, materials, and equipment.
  • The ability to co-ordinate Site Management teams and Subcontractors to ensure the project is delivered on time and to budget.
  • Experience of co-ordinating design changes and the TQ process.
