LOCATION: Hull

SALARY AND BENEFITS: £43-£48k, Pension (up to 10% matched), Health Scheme

THE ROLE: This is a great opportunity for an experienced Multi Skilled Technician/Engineer to work for an established Manufacturer at their facility in Hull. Full time 4 on 4 off - 12 hour day shifts 6am to 6pm.

Some duties will include:

  • Mechanically repairing and maintaining all plant and equipment to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum.
  • Assisting in the investigation and diagnosis of problems relating to breakdowns and repairs.
  • Undertaking the repair and refurbishment to plant and equipment in accordance with planned maintenance requirements and in breakdown situations.
  • Maintenance and setting up of all plant and equipment on site.
  • Assisting with the installation of new plant and equipment and obtaining sound working knowledge of plant, equipment and processes.
  • Reporting and/or recording all activities i.e. time spent, materials and spares used as appropriate on the CMMS.
  • Liaising with contractors and third parties to source and manufacture parts required to maintain and improve process and production requirements.
  • Liaising with machine manufacturers to help aid fault diagnosis and parts identification to maintain optimal plant performance.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Engineering apprenticeship.
  • Previous experience working as a Multi Skilled Engineer/Technician in a manufacturing environment, specifically within a fast moving environment (food/packaging or similar).
  • Multi Skilled ideally with Electrical qualifications.
