LOCATION: Commutable from Peterborough, Newmarket, Cambridge, St Neots, Letchworth, Huntingdon, Bishops Stortford

SALARY AND BENEFITS: Variable package £80-£90k to include car (with fuel card) or car allowance, healthcare, bonus. Applications are also welcome from experienced freelance Project Managers with rail experience who would be interested in working on this project on a day rate basis - Outside IR35 (subject to assessment) or PAYE basis.

THE ROLE: Our client is a well-respected, established main contractor who carry out a wide range of exciting Building/Civil projects throughout the UK including in the rail sector. They are looking to recruit an experienced Building/Civil Project Manager for a new project that is due to start in the next few weeks. The value is circa £20m so candidates must have experience of working as a Construction Project Manager on projects of at least that value, specifically within the rail sector. This is a site-based role.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Significant previous experience working as a Project Manager on Building/Civil projects for a main contractor in the rail industry
  • Extensive client liaison experience, including clear communication, providing updates and addressing concerns throughout the project life cycle
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
