THE ROLE: The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer role is a key position working for our client in the manufacturing sector in Hull. They offer an excellent working environment with a collaborative and collective approach. The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer role is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (days).

REQUIREMENTS: Ideally candidates for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer role will meet the following requirements:

  • Served a recognised engineering apprenticeship.
  • 17th Edition electrical Regulations certified.
  • Knowledge and understanding of PLCs.
  • Ideally holding NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in appropriate subject.
  • Preferred experience of working as a Maintenance Engineer/Technician in a fast moving, food or packaging, manufacturing environment.
  • Team player, flexible, self-motivated.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Mechanically repairing and maintaining all plant and equipment to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum.
  • Assisting in the investigation and diagnosis of problems relating to breakdowns and repairs.
  • Undertaking the repair and refurbishment to plant and equipment in accordance with planned maintenance requirements.
