Applications are also welcome from experienced freelance Project Managers with rail experience who would be interested in working on this project on a day rate basis - Outside IR35 (subject to assessment) or PAYE basis.
THE ROLE: Our client is a well-respected, established main contractor who carry out a wide range of exciting Building/Civil projects throughout the UK including in the rail sector. They are looking to recruit an experienced Building/Civil Project Manager for a new project that is due to start in the next few weeks. The value is circa £20m so candidates must have experience of working as a Construction Project Manager on projects of at least that value, specifically within the rail sector. This is a site-based role.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Significant previous experience working as a Project Manager on Building/Civil projects for a main contractor in the rail industry
- Extensive client liaison experience, including clear communication, providing updates and addressing concerns throughout the project life cycle
- Excellent leadership and management skills
