LOCATION: Commutable from Beverley, Hull, Selby, Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Goole, Doncaster, Immingham, Lincoln.
THE ROLE: This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected and established Engineering Consultancy as they look to add to their busy Inspection team with the appointment of a new Inspecting Engineer. The majority of the work will be in the Lincolnshire/Yorkshire region; however, from time to time projects may be undertaken in other parts of the UK.
SALARY AND BENEFITS: £40 - 50 K, pension, staff wellness scheme.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- A full UK Driving Licence.
- Previous experience of working as an Inspection Engineer, specifically with experience of inspecting steel structures in the industrial sector. This will include the structural inspection of stairs, ladders and walkways.
- A minimum of HNC/HND level qualification in a relevant Engineering qualification.
- Previous experience of providing inspection reports in a variety of formats.
- Whilst experience of working with steel structures is essential, it would be beneficial if the candidate has also worked on the inspection of other materials such as timber, masonry or concrete.
- A knowledge of MS Suite software would be useful for this role.
