This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site Services Engineer to work for an established Manufacturer at their facility in Hull. The successful candidate will ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all site services and infrastructure. The Site Services Engineer is responsible for maintaining utilities, building services, access systems, and supporting site services and utilities to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations and full compliance with statutory requirements. The role is 37.5 hours per week with an element of on call required. This will be confirmed. Some flexibility for both employee and employer.
Some duties will include:
- Maintain and monitor all site utilities including compressed air, chilled water, HVAC, and water systems
- Maintain site pumps, pipework, and associated distribution systems
- Carry out plumbing repairs and minor installations across the site
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on site services and facilities
- Maintain plant rooms, service corridors, and external infrastructure
- Support maintenance of lighting, drainage, and general facilities
- Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks on all site services
- Respond quickly to breakdowns affecting site services
- Use CMMS to record work, history, and asset data
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Time-served engineering apprenticeship or equivalent
- Strong experience in site services, facilities, or utilities maintenance
- Practical plumbing and pump maintenance experience
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience using CMMS
